ABOUT MY ART
In my abstract works, I combine transparent layers of color, textures, and a variety of materials. Inspired by colors, shapes, and structures found in everyday life, nature, and through travel, I create multi-layered pieces that bring together a sense of calm and dynamic energy.
I am fascinated by contrasts such as lightness and depth, or structure and chaos. I express these contrasts through the use of different materials such as graphite, paper, sand, or intentionally visible canvas. Soft, tranquil surfaces meet spontaneous lines and textures, creating a unique sense of tension and balance.
Each material carries its own character and becomes an integral part of the artwork.
With repeated viewing, new details gradually emerge, giving my works depth and a sense of vitality. Through my art, I invite viewers to pause, embrace their own thoughts and emotions, and discover something new each time they look.
ABOUT ME
My passion for painting has accompanied me since childhood. The process of bringing a blank canvas to life and creating something new continues to inspire me to this day. I am especially fascinated by the way art can transform the atmosphere of a space — sometimes a single painting is enough to create an entirely new mood.
With great passion and dedication, I create my works in my countryside studio in the Münsterland region.
